Sunset Villa - Negombo

Unbelievable stay! The best spot during my year of travel! Only a short drive from the airport with their convenient tuk tuk service. The family treated me like their own, serving incredible homegrown vegan meals. Teaching English to the kids and playing badminton together was a blast. They even took me to the temple and beach. The guesthouse was welcoming, peaceful, and had clean rooms with comfortable beds and mosquito nets. This charming little house in a beautiful neighborhood felt like home. The lovely host went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. From arranging tuk tuks, recommending snorkeling spots, to assisting with late-night shopping, their hospitality was outstanding. Can't recommend this place enough!

I recently had a great stay at Sunset Villa. I booked last minute and arrived late, but the owner was still very friendly and welcoming. the room and shared bathroom were impeccably clean. I enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast of naan and dahl for just 1.50 euro. the host went above and beyond, helping us with transportation and even arranging a tuk tuk for us at 9pm during heavy rain. the level of hospitality truly made our stay special. the location is perfect for those looking to stay close to the airport, and the host even drove us into town. Highly recommended!

I always stay at this place and never regret it. Staff helped with my elderly parents. It suits perfectly & has free parking, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, outdoor dining area, leisure/ TV room. No pets allowed. Non-smoking rooms. Coming back for New Year.
